The International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) is a professional independent third-party certification association dedicated to improving the standards within the international Lean Six Sigma Community. The only method to qualify for an IASSC certification is to successfully sit for and pass an official IASSC certification three hour exam consisting of 100 multiple choice questions administered and proctored on the internet by IASSC. Upon request we will provide a two day bridging course to prepare candidates for the exam at an additional cost available on request. Upon successful achievement, candidates will receive an IASSC Six Sigma Belt Certification issued by the International Association for Six Sigma Certification which is recognized perpetually.
REQUIREMENTS FOR LOCAL CERTIFICATION (SSTC)?
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is a three day course which includes a three hour exam.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course consists of five days training usually from a Monday to Friday. The advanced course is the Black Belt Lean Six Sigma course consisting of 10 days broken up into two, five day weeks separated by a week or two. To qualify for a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, candidates are required to have attained a pass in the Green Belt course as an entry requirement. The pass requirement for the Green Belt course is 60% which consists of an open book exam written on the Friday afternoon of the course week. Following a pass for this exam you will be required to conduct a Lean Six Sigma project at your work place or any suitable business venue where you will be expected to successfully apply the principles of Lean Six Sigma. A SSTC certificate will be provided when successfully obtaining a pass in the exam and the project.
The Black Belt Course consists of two, three hour exams for each five day week. A 60% pass mark is required for these exams. Black Belt candidates are also required to conduct a Lean Six Sigma project to qualify.
